Japan – Simply the best!

On the way back to Tokyo we tried to go to Mount Fuji to see the beautiful view of the volcano, but unfortunately it was completely covered by the clouds and we end up leaving without seeing this remarkable symbol of Japan. But what can we do… We will leave this for the next time.

We just love Japan! A wonderful cuisine, friendly and very polite people and a contrasting culture that impresses all the time.
The modernity and tradition live together in perfect harmony and is stamped everywhere: traditional wooden houses x skyscrapers, the traditional kimonos x young radicals with their crazy clothes and make-up, the Japanese hipsters x super shy and formal people speaking softly… Walking the streets and observe everything is fun guaranteed and every day you discover new things.

The Japanese are also addicted to any kind of game: fighting, dancing, shooting, car racing, poker, horse racing, football, machines with the claw to pick up manga dolls and so on. Everywhere you find huge games arcade that are always crowded with people. Even more impressive are the Pachinkos, a mixture of pinball and slot machine making a terrible noise and with a very loud music! It is impossible to stay there for 15 seconds, but they love it!

Here we had the faster transportation of the trip so far, the famous bullet train Shinkasen, which is up to 300 km per hour and has a cool design of a futuristic movie.

Bathrooms are another sensation in Japan. It was never so enjoyable to go to the toilet. They are super clean and fragrant, the seat is heated and almost all of them have different controls that include hot water jet, air drying, music or sound to mask the scandalous noises that you might do during your reflection time and automatic covers and flush. Almost an incredible experience! Hheheh … See the video below and you’ll understand.

We were really impressed and delighted with Japan. It’s just so cool! And for the first time since we started our adventure we felt that we would like to live there for a while. This will be a project for us to think for the future. Japan, we will miss you.
